7. Position the patient so that he/she is centered laterally (from left to right) and that the armpits are
aligned with the AutoPulse using the yellow line positioning guides on the platform as shown in
Figure 3-6.

Warning: Do not place or position the patient on the AutoPulse Platform in either a facedown
orientation or on the patient's side. Also ensure the head orientation is correct. The head
label arrow points towards the patient's head.
ON/OFF
Center the patient on the
