8. Start the machine and check for leaks. Check the
operation of the travel motors.
9. Install cover (2). Install the washers and four bolts
(1). Tighten the four bolts to a torque of 95 ± 7 ft. lb.
(130 ± 10 Nm).
6.11 TRAVEL MOTOR
Disassembly
Start by removing the travel motor. Refer to Disassembly
and Assembly, "Travel Motor - Remove" in this manual.
1. Remove rotary assembly (1) from motor housing (2).
2. Remove control unit (3) from motor housing (2).
3. Use Tooling (A) to remove swash plate (4). Remove
piston rod (5).
