Qos Policy: High Priority Levels: 0~7 priority level can map to high or low queue.

Once some levels are checked, it means that they have high priorities.

4.4.2.3 Misc Config

„

Collisions Retry Forever: “Disable” – In half duplex, if collision happens, Switch will

retry 48 times and then drop frame. Otherwise, if collision happens, the Switch will retry
forever when “Enable”.

„

Hash Algorithm: CRC Hash or Direct Map for MAC address learning algorithm. After

selecting one of both, chipset will learn MAC address according to your selected
algorithm.

IFG Compensation:

Ethernet devices must allow a minimum idle time between transmission of Ethernet
frames known as the interframe gap (IFG). This idle time gives the network media a
chance to stabilize, and other network components to process the frame. The minimum
interframe gap is 96 bit times (the time it takes to transmit 96 bits of raw data on the
medium), which is 9.6 μs for 10 Mbit/s Ethernet, 960 ns for 100 Mbit/s Fast Ethernet,
96 ns for 1 Gbit/s (gigabit) Ethernet.
Generally, the interframe gap is not always 96 bit frames, if it is less than 96 bit times, it
will occur that transmission speed of SNMP-FSH2602MG v2 would be over
100/1000Mbps. If SNMP-FSH2602MG v2 transmit frames at a more than 100Mbps
rate that causes some 10/100Mbps device to enter into a state of congestion (i.e. no
buffer space remaining to receive additional frames), 10/100Mbps device may transmit
a Pause frame which halt the transmission of the sender for a specified period of time.
The flow control mechanism would begin to prevent from packet loss. User can select
“Enable” or “Disable” to IFG Compensation.

802.1x Protocol: It provides an authentication mechanism to devices wishing to attach

to a LAN, either establishing a point-to-point connection or preventing it if
authentication fails. Use can enable or disable 802.1x protocol. Once enabled, you can
configure 802.1x setting in another web.
