RSTP
Spanning tree is a link management protocol that provides path redundancy while
preventing undesirable loops in the network.
RSTP Setup
You must enable Rapid Spanning Tree function before configuring RSTP function.
1. Select
<Edit>
2. Use
“Space” key to select the option. User can select “RSTP”, “Disable” or “STP”.
3. Select
<Save>.
System Configuration
You can configure the RSTP system parameter after enable the RSTP function. You can
view spanning tree information about the Root Bridge on the left.

2. Priority: Assign path priority number. The valid value is 0 ~ 61440. The default is
32678.
3. Max Age: The maximum path age. The valid value is 6 ~ 40 seconds. The default is 20
seconds.
