10. Heating bath lift

Heating bath lift RAISES, as long as the Lift UP

key is held depressed.

Heating bath lift LOWERS, as long as the Lift DOWN

key is held depressed.

At upper and lower limits, lift motion stops automatically.
The LABOROTA 20 control WB (water bath) features a fully
automatic water refill system with float switch.
Exceeding the max. fill mark (about 30 mm below tank rim,
monitored by float switch), the Lift UP motion is discontinued
automatically.

As water in the heating bath evaporates, the heating bath itself travels up in small increments for
compensation, until reaching the upper stop.
If max fill level is not sensed at the upper stop, the water will be refilled automatically.

The LABOROTA 20 control OB (oil bath) features neither refill or float switch.

11. Speed setting

Change between Act Speed and Set Speed display with
Select key. Act Speed LED or Set Speed LED illuminate.

Select LED Set Speed for speed setting.

Nominal speed (rpm) appears in the display.

Change nominal speed with Set keys.

econds after last entry, display will change to “Act”, last

entry will be saved.
Start rotation with Start Stop key.
Hit this key once more to stop rotation.

CAUTION: for safety reasons, start rotation at low speeds.
Rotational speed can be increased during operation.
Never exceed a speed of 100 rpm, while working with a 20 l evaporation flask.

If rotation does not start with the START/STOP key, please check for illumination of one or more of
the Safety Cover, Flask Support or Rotation Stop LED’s.
If this occurs check if the enclosure is open, flask support not in one of its extreme positions, or the
drive drive lock engaged.
