Description:
A vacuum sensor, installed to display and regulate distillation pressure, monitors pressure in the
glassware kit either. Pressure rise above e.g. 1100 mbar will disconnect the LABOROTA 20 control
by activ
ating the „Emergency“ function:
Hot bath lift rises automatically,
heater and rotation are disconnected,
system is aerated,
a buzzer sounds continuously,
Emergency LED lights, Akt Vacuum LED flashes.
For remedy choose distillation under vacuum or keep aerating valve and valve (3) on inlet pipe (2)
open.
To reset Emergency-function, turn power switch OFF and ON.
Limit value:
Depending on local atmospheric pressure, limit value may be adjusted. In the factory, a standard
value of 1100 mbar was set, you may do your own settings between 900 and 1200 mbar.
Rule of thumb:
The higher your local elevation, the lower your limit value. Make reference to the pressure in the
aerated system, as displayed, plus about 50 mbar.
Edit limit value:
Turn LABOROTA 20 control OFF with "power" switch.
Depress Select and Start Stop
keys in the „Time“ block
the same time, hold depressed and turn power switch
to "ON". Wait for all of the LEDs are lighted and release
Select and Start Stop keys.
„OVER“ appears in the Display Speed
