Row Unit Operation

Disc furrowers are used to clear crop residue, dirt clods, and dry soil from in front of row units for a clean and smooth
seed bed. The disc furrower may be equipped with 12" solid blades or 12" notched blades. Notched blades are for
heavier residue conditions and cut crop residue and move it aside to prevent plugging or pushing.
