The following screen is the Communications tab for the MSG
instruction above.

You only need to enter the path on this screen. “DNET” refers to the
module on the 1756 backplane to which the message is sent. “2” is the
DeviceNet port on the 1756-DNB. “19” is the DeviceNet address of the
1769-ADN.

The status word written to the tag specified in the destination field of
the MSG instruction is defined as follows:

information on Recoverable and Unrecoverable, Major and Minor
faults.
