Refer to the Comparison Feature section on page 3-22 for an
explanation on the use of this field.

4. You may choose from the pull-down menu to change the

electronic keying to exact match, compatible module, or disable
keying.

Exact Match: The programmed module type (e.g. 1769-IA16)

and the revision must match exactly with the actual module.

Compatible Module: The programmed module type must

match the actual module, but the revision of the actual
module can be equal or greater than the programmed
revision.

Disable: Any module may be used as a replacement.

Refer to the Comparison Feature section on page 3-22 for an
explanation on the use of this field.

5. To change the program and/or fault mode operation

(on/off/hold) of an individual point, use the pull-down menu
tab and choose ON, OFF, or HOLD.

The communication failure box at the bottom of the screen
allows you to change how the outputs react if the system is in
program mode and a communication failure/fault occurs.

Use the radio buttons to choose to leave the outputs in program
mode or to change the outputs to fault mode.

The default is to leave the outputs in program mode.

6. If desired, choose Set for I/O Only to automatically modify the

input/output sizes to real time size defaults and the other
configuration data to their default values.
