Install Cart Plumbing

Refer to Figure 42

Pump Damage Risk:
Do not remove pump inlet or outlet caps until instructed, at
step_zz which is during the final cart plumbing steps.

L1. Install right tank discharge EL and shutoff.

L2. Install left tank plumbing tree

L3. Cut & attach cross-cart hose to left tree

L4. Cut & attach cross-cart hose to right s/o

L5. Install tee & el between cross-cart hoses

L6. Install QF inlet

L7. Connect fill hose from QF to center tee

L8. Install gauge & relief valve asy

L9. Install outlet s/o and coupler

L10. Cut & attach relief to outlet hose

Pump Damage Risk:
Do not start these final steps unless 15 liters of antifreeze is
available and there is ample time to perform the pump charg-
ing beginning at step L20.

L11. Close all valves in cart plumbing system.

L12. Attach the calibration crank (see Operator manual)

L13. Set pump rate adjuster to 10 (see Rate manual).

Store adjuster tool in caddy.

L14. Remove top (outlet) cap at pump.

L15. Install pump outlet EL asy.

L16. Cut & attach hose from pump outlet to relief valve.

L17. Remove bottom (inlet) cap at pump.

L18. Install inlet EL.

L19. Cut & attach hose from strainer to pump inlet.

L20. Add 15 liters RVAF to either tank.

L21. Open discharge valve for that tank.

Open inlet valve for pump.
Open outlet valve at cart rear.

L22. Operate calibration crank until fluid appears at out-

let. Pump is now full of antifreeze. Close outlet s/o
valve. Leave other valves open for thermal cycling.

Note: Implement plumbing installation begins on

page_zz, after implement is mated to cart.
