Install Lock Cylinder Assembly
Note: Cylinder may contain oil. To ease rod adjustment,
remove caps on elbow fittings at both cylinder
ports, and interconnect any available length of hy-
draulic hose with
9 ⁄
16
FJIC connectors at both ends.

149. Select one:
160-332S NTA607HD TRANSPORT LOCK ASY
The cylinder assembly includes the clevis pins and
cotter pins needed for installation. Remove these for
the next step.
The cylinder also has
9 ⁄
16
MJIC elbows installed.
Install the cylinders with the elbows to the rear.
150. Retract the cylinder rod. Compress the spring as
necessary. Insert the lock lug (with spring to rear)
into the channel of the lock plate .
Align the base end of the cylinder with the top hole
in the base lug. Secure with pins provided. Remove
any hoses temporarily connected. Re-cap elbows at
cylinder ports.

151. Select two:
810-219C CYL 3.5X16X2 ROD (TIE ROD)
The cylinder assemblies include the clevis pins and
cotter pins needed for installation.
The cylinders may also have

MJIC adaptors
installed. Install the cylinders with the adaptors
pointing toward drill center.
152. Attach the base end of the cylinders to the lugs
on the upper rear cart frame. Secure with pins pro-
vided.
153. Retract cylinder rods as needed to obtain alignment
between rod end clevis and the holes in the flex
link
. Secure with pins provided. Remove any
hoses temporarily connected. Re-cap elbows at cyl-
inder ports.
