Install Weights
About the Weights
Refer to Figure 121
Three sets of weights are provided:
160-333S NTA607HD WEIGHT BRACKET ASY
They are identical except on double-shoot drills. They
include weight bracket mounts
for lifting. Take up
slack gradually to avoid deforming mounts. Minimize load
sway to avoid damage to nearby objects and the drill.
Dense Heavy Overhead Object Hazard:
Use adequate lifting means. Use both mounts
for lifting.
Keep all workers clear of area while a weight is overhead.
Keep hands away from underside of weights, and out of stack-
to-stack contact regions. Weight stacks have a mass of 374kg
(825 pounds). A hoist failure could result in substantial equip-
ment damage, serious injury or death. Hands in the path of
weight movement can be crushed.

Directional Weights:
The weights must be installed with both weight bracket
mounts
leaning to implement left (for folding clearance).
In the unlikely event that both are leaning out (see Figure 122
for an example), loosen the assembly bolt
at the incorrect
end , rotate the mount 180
° and re-secure the bolt.
Install Double-Shoot Mount
If the drill is a single-hopper or single-shoot model, skip
to step 276. If one of the weight assemblies already has
the double-shoot mount installed, skip to step 276.

and two sets:
802-082C HHCS 1/2-13X1 3/4 GR5
804-017C WASHER FLAT 1/2 USS PLT
804-015C WASHER LOCK SPRING 1/2 PLT
803-020C NUT HEX 1/2-13 PLT
Choose one of the weight assemblies to be the
rear weights; typically this will be whatever set is
presently the easiest to access from the rear (lifting
mounts
leaning left as you approach).
Install the monitor mount on the rear breaks of
the lifting mounts . The left end of the monitor
mount has an oval hole and a round hole. The right
end has two vertical slots.
