Dismount Final Wing
Refer to Figure 69
161. Loosen the nuts on the four sets of U-Bolts
and
two straight bolts that secure wing section to rack
mounts. adjust lifter until fasteners are not in tensi-
uon.
162. Remove nuts completely. Remove fasteners. Lift
rack free of wing. The rack and fasteners are not
reused.

Install Wings
Install Wing Extensions
Wing extensions are different for standard (STD) down-
flex, and for each row spacing of limited (LTD) down flex.
Before installing extensions:
• Check extension part numbers against the configura-
tion ordered, per sequence number/feature code:
• Make sure all four extensions are the same part num-
ber. Different extensions cannot be mixed.

163. Select four each of one of the following:
160-319H 10 DEGREE WING PIVOT EXT WLDMT
160-334H 6 LIMITED FLEX WING FR EXT
160-335H 7.5 LIMITED FLEX WING FR EXT
and four sets:
802-075C HHCS 1-8X7 GR5
803-168C NUT HEX TOP LOCK 1-8 PLT
Orient each extension as shown, align the
holes in the wing ends of the side plates with the
round tubes in the wing tool bars. Insert bolts
to
hold alignment. Add lock nuts but do not fully
tighten at this step.
