Changing the mode settings
TBC* <ON/OFF>
• Normally select ON, to correct for jitter.
• Select OFF to not correct for jitter. The picture
mav not be steady when played back.
Note on TBC setting
Set TBC to OFF when playing back
• A tape recorded when the camcorder was
shaking.
• A tape on which vc»u recorded a low quality TV
signal.
• A tape vou have dubbed o\'er.
• A tape which vou recorded the signal ol a
\’ideo game or similar machine.
DNR* <ON/OFF>
• .NormalK' select 0,\ to reduce picture noise.
•Select OFF if the picture has a lot of movement,
causing a conspicuous afterimage.
• These settings are retained e\’en when the
batterx' is renio\'ed, as long as the wmadium-
lithium batterv is charged. As tar as the items
without an asterisk are amcerned, tln'ir settings
return to the default a minutes or more aftiT the
batterv is removed.
