Shooting with
backlighting
When you shoot a subject with the light source
behind the subject or a subject with a light
background, use the BACK LIGHT function.
Press BACK LIGHT. The E3 indicator appears in
the viewfinder.

After shooting
Be sure to release tliis adjustment condition by
pressing BACK EIGHT again. The

bright under normal lighting condition.
This function is also effective under the
following conditions:
• A subject with a light source nearby or a mirror
reflecting light
• A white subject against a white background.
EspecialK’ when vou shoot a person wearing
shiny clothes made of silk or synthetic fibre, his
or her face tends to become dark if vou do not
'use this function.

demasiado brillante en condiciones normales de
iluminación.
Esta función también es útil en las siguientes
condiciones:
• Sujetos con una fuente de luz cercana o un
espejo que refleje la luz
• Sujetos blancos con un fondo blanco. En
especial, cuando se x'ideofilma a una persona
que lleva un atuendo brillante de seda o fibra
sintética, su rostro tiende a oscurecerse si no se
usa esta luncion.
