Installing a Remote Management Module 4

The Remote Management Module (RMM) solution for the CG1200 server uses RMM4 in the iBMC on the
S2400EP4 server board. There are two options: the Intel® Remote Management Module 4 kit and the
Intel® Remote Management 4 Lite. This procedure shows how to install RMM4 Lite first and then full
RMM4.

The RMM4 kit includes a dedicated NIC module and a small key card to enable full functionality. (It also
contains other hardware and cables that are not used for installation in the CG1200 system.)

To install the RMM4 module you must first remove the chassis cover and the riser card assembly.
