3. Fasten the server board to the chassis base with the seven screws that were removed and saved.

4. If the new server board does not have components pre-installed and you are re-using components

from the old server board, install components as follows:

To install memory DIMMs, see Section 3.3.3, “ Installing Memory DIMMs”.

To install heat sink(s) and processor(s), see Section 3.3.5, “Adding or Replacing a Processor”

5. Re-install all cables disconnected when the old server board was removed:

- Baseboard SSI main power cable from the power distribution board
- CPU1 and DIMM power cable from the power distribution board
- CPU2 and DIMM power cable from the power distribution board
- PMBus signal cable
- Baseboard SSI power control signal cable
- Front panel board USB cable
- SSI front panel board cable
- Fan set power cables (5)
- Mini-SAS cable from the SAS HDD backplane (if not connected to a hardware RAID controller)
- HSBP I

6. Re-install the RMM4 module or RMM4Lite, if used. For instructions, see Section 4.7, “Installing a

Remote Management Module 4”.

7. Re-install the I/O module, if used. For instructions, see Section 4.8, “Installing an I/O Module”.

8. Re-install the hardware RAID ROC module, if used. For instructions, see Section 4.3 “Installing a

Hardware RAID Controller”.

9. Re-install the riser card assembly. For instructions, see Section 3.2.6, “ Re-Installing the Riser Card

Assembly”.

10. Re-connect the TAM alarms cable to the alarms connector on the chassis rear panel. See Figure 6:

11. If this is the last task you are performing inside the server chassis, replace the chassis cover and

reconnect any external devices and the power cord(s).
