Chapter 9
Camera operation
This chapter describes how to use the camera.
On-screen display
Information on the status of several dome camera functions can be displayed on
the monitor screen. The on-screen display (OSD) shows the following
information:
Table 11: On-screen information
Zoom: The level of magnification
Direction: The compass direction the camera is pointing. The information is
displayed in the format NEXXX TXXX where “NEXXX” is the position
north-east in degrees and “TXXX” the vertical position in degrees.
Alarm message: Alarm message display.
Time: Time display.
Preset title: Identifies the preset in use.

information displayed.
Live mode
Open the camera’s Web browser screen and click the Preview button on the
menu toolbar to view live mode (see Figure 6 on page 16).
