7. Select an action and enter the keyword for the port event handling.
8. Enable Email notification.
Note:
It is assumed that SMTP is configured first. If not, see "Configuring SMTP Alerts"
on page 52.
9. Enter the title of the Email (subject line).
10. Enter the Email recipient’s address.
11. Enable SNMP trap notification.
12. Enter the title of the trap.
13. Choose either to use the global SNMP settings by enabling "Use global
SNMP configuration" or specify special settings for this port.
14. Enter the IP address of the trap receiver.
15. Enter the SNMP community
16. Select the version.
17. Complete configuration and then choose
Save & apply
.
Note:
Key word is any text string that will trigger an alert when it traverses the serial port.
