Example 2:

To send a call alert to MDC1200 alias 1 (i.e. FIRE 100) do the following. Note that the alias number is as
listed in the software under MDC1200 aliases.

PC to C200: ‘^’, <CR>

C200 to PC: ‘0’, ‘1’, ‘8’ (C200 Response)

PC to C200: ‘1’, ‘0’, ‘2’, ‘1’, ‘~’ (C200 does Call Alert)

C200 to PC: “O <DS ID> FIRE 100 HH:MM:SS MM:DD:YY CAL ALT”

C200 to PC: “I FIRE 100 <DS ID> HH:MM:SS MM:DD:YY ACK CAL ALT”

C200 to PC: ‘~’ (Acknowledgment to PC that Call Alert is complete)

Paging

Paging allows the PC to direct the C200 to transmit a paging sequence using a preprogrammed alias or a
specified cap code. The behavior of each specific page type is controlled by software programmed
parameters.
