Local Control (L3147A Mode) Problems
The desk set will not cause
the transmitter to key. Ensure that the PTT relay is properly programmed with the XAC0008A
Programming Software.
Ensure that the PTT relay has a ground connection.
Ensure that the PTT relay is activated when
TRANSMIT
is pressed.
Ensure that the PTT relay is properly connected to the radio
The desk set will not place
the radio in monitor mode. Ensure that the monitor relay is properly programmed with the
programming software.
Ensure that the monitor relay has a ground connection.
Ensure that the monitor relay is activated when
MONITOR
is pressed.
Ensure that the monitor relay is properly connected to the radio
RX Audio is low or
distorted. Insure that the audio level is properly adjusted for the particular speaker.
Insure that the line-input sensitivity is properly adjusted.
The
TRANSMIT
LED does
not light or “SYS NOT
AVAIL” is displayed.
If the unit has a CTS input programmed, ensure that the radio is properly
connected to the relay I/O module.
If the unit has a CTS input programmed, ensure that the X timer (time to
wait for CTS), and the Y timer (qualification time) is properly set in the
programming software for the LTR CTS input.
Fuse Replacement
CAUTION
For continued safe operation, replace fuses with the same type.
 Fuses F1 and F2 are Bussmann C515S 1.25A SB 2AG.
 Fuse F401 is Bussmann GMA 1A 5X20MM.
