8. What if ...

This chapter will help you to recognize malfunctions and take appropriate measures.

8.1 Error messages

During operation, the furnace continuously monitors all the functions. If an error is detected, the respective error message
is displayed.

The acoustic signal and the error message can be acknowledged with the corresponding buttons.

The following error messages may be displayed. If there are any questions, please contact the Ivoclar Vivadent After Sales
Service.

Enter a logical value for the long-term cooling L.

Enter a logical value for the vacuum-on temperature V1x or the vacuum-off

Change either the vacuum values or the holding temperature T.

failure. The program cannot be continued!

Error in the heating system

Check the heater fuse. If fuse is O.K., contact your local Ivoclar Vivadent
Service Center.

Heating muffle very old

The heating muffle is worn down. It is recommended to replace it with a
new one. After the error message has been acknowledged, a firing pro-
gram may still be started.

Heating muffle defective

The muffle is so worn down that it must be replaced immediately.

T is > B + 160 °C at the start of a
firing program

The firing chamber is too hot to start a firing program.

The furnace head cannot be
initialized.

The furnace head cannot be moved to the final position. It might be
blocked by an external mechanical source! If this is not the case, please
contact your local Service Center!
