H3C recommends that you install two MPUs for redundancy, and install all switching fabric modules to
your switch.
• The LST1FW3A1 is only supported by Release 18XX. The LST1FW2A1, LST1IPS1A1, LST1NSM1A1,
LST1LB1A1, and LST1ACG1A1 are supported by Release 18XX and early.
• The LST2XP8LEC2, LST1XP16LEC2, LST2XP32REC2, LST1GP48LEC2, and LST1GT48LEC2 are only
supported by Release 18XX.
• The LST2SF08C1, LST2SF18C1, LST1XP8LEF1, LST1XP16LEB1, LST1XP16LEC1, LST3XP8LEB1, and
LST3XP8LEC1 are supported by Release 1728 and later.
• The LST1XP8LEB1 and LST1XP8LEC1 are supported by Release 1728P01 and later.
• The LST1XP32REB1 and LST1XP32REC1 are supported by Release 1728P02 and later.
• The switching fabric modules used on an S12500 switch must be the same model.
