FX PROCESSOR
The FX Processor provides internal DVE functions for the
It provides 4
channels of DVE (video or key) with linear effects (Zoom, Position, Rotation) in 3D
space.
A combiner on the FX Processor supports Z--Priority and allows to combine the
DVE channels already on the board to safe keyers on the M/E and simplify opera-
tion. A plug in module allows to add 4 channels of Ram Recorder.
A Ram Recorder channel can store 8s of uncompressed video including embedded
audio.
The FX Processor provides 6 internal inputs and 8 outputs to the
matrix
(Input Processor).
D
FX Processor RY 3460:
The FX Processor provides 4 channels (video or key) of linear DVE effects in
3D space (Zoom. Position, Rotation on 3 axis). A on board combiner provides
Z--Priority and combines channels for multi channel effects (e.g. cube).
On board connectors can hold a Ram Recorder Module (RY 3465)
D
Ram Recorder Module RY 3465:
The Ram Recorder Module can be installed on the FX Processor (RY 3460)
to provide 4 channels of uncompressed video store of 8s each for stills and vi-
deo sequences.

MAINFRAME LICENSES
In the
architecture the required processing performance is provided with
the signal processing devices and structure on the boards. Implementing and using
functions requires configuration data for the general processing devices and li-
cense codes to enable the function for a specific
switcher. The enabled li-
censes are stored in the
mainframe and will immediately enable a spare
board to provide the existing functionality.
To configure
for a certain function the required modules (e.g. Serial Input,
Aux Module) and the license has to be ordered.

TALLY LICENSE LK 0113
Tally licenseenables
to provide tally indication. 3 tally levels are supported.
This port protocol license entitles the purchaser to use the Tally option. Tally soft-
ware translates the internal control information for further use via serial RS485
ports. Only one license isneeded for control of variousdistribution units or Facility
Control Systems (e.g. Jupiter).
Depending on the number of these units, several Tally channels are available
(known as red--, yellow--, green Tally) per running Application.
D
Tally Ch.1: Stdrd. On--Air src signalling
D
Preset Tally: Tally for selected sources not being put On--Air (”yellow”).
D
Tally Ch.2:(green Tally) like Channel 1, with separate On Air control input.
