Turn the ribbon feed knob on the ribbon
cassette counterclockwise to stretch the
ribbon tight.

Turn off the power. Open the front cover.
3.
Attach the ribbon cassette as shown below.

Do not touch the print head immediately
after printing becouse it is too hot.
Use the specified
ribbon cassette .
When power is turned
off, data in the buffer
is lost. Output all data
before turning off the
printer.
Open the front cover by
pressing both side locks
with both hands. Hold
both sides with both
hands to raise it upward
slowly. When closing
the front cover, hold
both sides with both
hands to pull it down
slowly. Press the front
cover to lock it.

Approximately 15 seconds after the printer is rutned on, the print head will move to
the left.
