Step 11: Schedule Recording Setting
The Alert alarm notification function
allows you to play a previously
recorded sound files on the host
computer in the case of a detected
alarm.
To configure the Alert alarm
notification setting, please go to
Channel Settings and choose the
Alarm tab by clicking on it. Choose
the Alert tab by clicking on it.
CyberEyes has a default sound file that
you can readily use. You can change
to another sound file as long as the
other sound file is in .WAV file format.
You can set the value for This sound
file will be played xx times when an
alarm occurred.
Click OK to finish configuring the Alert
alarm notification settings.
To configure Schedule Recording
mode, please go to Channel
Settings. Make sure a check mark is
placed beside the Record function.
Click on the selection areas with the
left mouse button and drag to select
the time frames for Schedule
Recording.
If the Record function is the only
function with the selected time
frames, then no alarm notifications
will be sent out. It is only when the
time frames of the other alarm
notification functions overlap the
ones of the Record function will such
alarm notifications be effective.
For example, as this case illustrates,
the Alert alarm notifications will be
sent starting every Wednesday
afternoon till Friday morning, as well
as Saturday midnight to Saturday
morning.
