Channel Status

CyberEyes can support up to four channels; that is, you can simultaneously monitor a total of four cameras at

the same time.

On the Channel Status area, there are four icons corresponding to four channels. Different color indicates

different channel status. The following are four kinds of channel status that you may come across:

closed.

Control Bar

The control bar contains seven function buttons that you can use to configure CyberEyes.

Channel number: will display 1, 2, 3, or 4

Device location: will display the location name; default
is Location 1, Location 2, Location 3, and Location 4

Channel status: will display Playing (if this channel is
currently running or recording), Stop (if this channel is
closed by the Close View function), Work forbidden (if
this channel is stopped by the Stop Device function),
and No Device Connected (if this channel is removed
from the DQP)

Alarm Status: will display Motion Alarm Not Occurred (if this channel is not set to “Enable Window
notification when alarm occurs
”) and Motion Alarm Occurred (if this channel is set to “Enable window
notification when alarm occurs
”)

Gray-white with a
red cross:
The video
channel is stopped.
All recording settings
will stop until you
choose the Start
Device
function
again.

Red-yellow:
The video is
playing.

Blue-green: The video
is closed, however,
CyberEyes still records
according to the
recording settings even
though there is a blank
screen shown.

Gray-white: No
video channel is
connected.
