9: Why does the Call-out alarm not have any sound under Windows 2000 or Windows ME operating

systems?

It might be because your modem could not play this format of sound files. Some voice modems can only

support the format of 8000Hz, 16-bit sound files under Windows 2000 or Windows ME. However, you can

convert the format to the supported ones using the recording program attached to CyberEyes.

10: If the computer is improperly shut down, the recorded images will not be openable. What shall I do

to resolve the problem?

The recorded database might lead to error and cannot be opened due to improper operation. However, you

may remedy the database using Microsoft Access. Please follow the instructions below:

1.

Find the database.gdb file in the image storage directory (or you may view the directory info on the

Storage tab in System Settings).

2.

Open the file with Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Access will ask you whether to remedy the database

error. Choose remedy.

3.

The remedied database can then be opened using CyberEyes, and the images can also be viewed.

It is strongly recommended that you redirect a database for your recorded images. The way to do this is to

specify a new and empty directory for image storage on the Storage tab.
