Step 15: Monitor remotely

CyberEyes provides a function that allows you to remotely monitor via a standard web browser, such as

Internet Explorer. You do not need to be physically near the host computer, rather, you could monitor at a place

that is half the globe away from the host computer. All you need to do is to type in the IP address of the host

computer on a standard web browser and you will be able to remotely monitor.

This is where you type
in the IP address of the
host computer. Hit the
Enter key to search.

This is the webpage
you will see as the
result of the IP address
search.

Depending on the user
type, you must choose
the appropriate User
Type
and enter the
appropriate User
Password
. Click Enter
to go to the main
webpage.

You have four options,
Alarm Events, Log
Search
, Image Playback,
and Realtime Browse.

Alarm Events and Log Search options allow you to
see a list of alarm events (the date and time of each
alarm) and a list of user types that logged in to
CyberEyes (in date and time of each log in)
respectively.

The Image Playback
and Realtime Browse
options allow you to
playback what has
been previously
recorded at the host
computer and monitor
live images as events
happen respectively.
