On the Alarm tab, click Phone, and you are able to set the Phone properties. Choose the voice data
modem from the pull-down menu.
Enable Phone by placing a check
mark beside Phone from the right
side of the Schedules tab. Click
and drag to select the time areas
(Right click and drag to remove the
selections). You must ensure that
the time areas selected for Phone
notification overlap the time
areas selected for Schedule
Record in order for alarm
notifications to take effect.
You must have a voice modem in
order to use the Phone
notification function. If you are
connected to LAN (as this case
shows), you cannot use the
Phone notification function. Use
Add/Delete to set the phone number
for receiving the voice alert. The
software has a default audio file that
you could readily use. On the other
hand, you could select or browse for
a different audio file (should be
in .WAV format) to use as the voice
alert.
