Computer Hardware and Software Requirements
The following are the recommended computer requirements:
• 600 MHz Pentium III processor or higher
• 256 MB of RAM or higher
• 2 USB ports
• 1 RS-232 DB9 serial port
• 2 PCMCIA slots
• 10 Gigabyte hard drive or higher
• 1024 x 768 display resolution
• CD-ROM drive (for software installation)

E6474A software Compatible with Windows 2000 and XP. Windows 98 can
only be used for direct connect phones making trace
measurements.
Persons using this software should be familiar with the
Windows user interface. These recommendations are
subject to change as new functionality is provided in the
product.
Dual serial port
PCMCIA (Socket
I/O) card Required for a system equipped with multiple phones,
each of which is connected to a computer serial port. The
Socket I/O card is included with the phone, and
combination phone and receiver software licenses.

Speed Direct
Connect Hub Enables communication with the software via the
computer’s USB port. Two phones or up to two Agilent
receivers, and a GPS navigator can be connected to the
Direct Connect Hub.
