When you are done setting the IR frequency and code, press the MENU key again.
From the IR TYPE menu, you can also select:
NEXT - to move to the next menu item.
PREV - to move to the previous menu item.
FACTORY - to return this setting to the factory default.
SET ALL - sets all the rooms to this setting.
Learning IR for Control of Sources
The IR LEARN menu learns source’s remote control IR commands to the Quartet
remote.
To learn a source’s remote commands to the Quartet remote, follow these steps:
1.
Make sure you have selected the source that you want to learn the IR code for.
2.
Use the down arrow key to highlight IR LEARN.
3.
Press the MENU key to select IR LEARN.
4.
Use the down arrow key to highlight LEARN and press the MENU key. The
following screen appears:

Select the key on the Quartet remote you want to learn it to. In our example screen
that follows, we’ve selected the Pause key.
You can select either the
press function (one
press) or the press and
hold function (one press
and hold it down).
