grip comes with a plug installed to prevent moisture from entering the enclosure.

Supplying Power to the Indicator From the Forklift Battery

CAUTION

The indicator power source will be connected directly to the battery of the forklift. Most typical is 12 volts
for propane, gas and diesel forklifts. However, some diesel forklifts are 24 volts.

12 and 48 volt systems must have a negative ground so ensure the forklift has a negative ground
electrical system. The CLS series cargo lift scale will not operate on a positive ground forklift.

Refer to the forklift user’s manual for further verify grounding requirements.

The indicator draws its power from the forklift battery. After the indicator is mounted, run the power cable along
the forklift chassis down to the forklift battery.
