Core Module DIP Switches

The DIP switches on the

iQUBE

core module must be

set to configure the

iQUBE

as a primary or secondary

unit, and to specify the type of serial communications
provided by the unit. Table 2-7 lists the DIP switches
and their functions.

2.10 Core Module Reset Procedure

To reload the default firmware into the

iQUBE

core

module, do the following:

1. Power-off the

iQUBE

. Remotely powered

units can be powered off by temporarily
removing fuse F1 (see Figure 2-2 on page 4).

2. Set core module DIP switch 8 ON.

3. Power-on the

iQUBE

. Allow LED D1, on the

core module, to cycle from red to green or
green to red several times, then off.

4. Power-off the

iQUBE

.

5. Set DIP switch 8 OFF.

6.

Power-on the

iQUBE

. The reset is now complete.
