Insert the documents FACE DOWN.
Press MENU until the following is shown.
POLLED ?
PRESS START KEY
Press START.
The documents are fed into the unit and scanned
into memory.
- The amount of memory used is shown as a
percentage on the display.

- The “polled” function will be set after scanning the
documents, and polling can begin.

- If you have already set the polled mode, the
display will show the following:
OVERRIDE POLLED
MODE? [l.YES 2.NO]
Press 1 to override the previous setting.
Press 2 to interrupt the procedure.
NOTES:
- You can receive, transmit, and copy documents while the polled mode is set.
- Select the standard resolution when setting the polled mode. Otherwise the number of
documents that the unit can transmit will be decreased.
