Turning the power switch on
Turn the power switch to the “ I ” (ON) position.
Warming up:
When turning the unit on, the display shows the following message for a while.
After warming up, your unit will be ready to use.

NOTE:
- If the alarm indicator light is on when you turn the power switch on, confirm that the cartridge
compartment cover and the printer cover are closed firmly.
Battery charging:
After warming up, the display will show the following message for about 5 hours until the battery
is charged.

CHARGING BATTERY -
Even in this case, the unit wili function properiy. But remember that if a power faiiure
occurs, or the unit is turned off, fax and voice messages stored in memory wili be lost.
The display message will disappear after the battery is charged. The battery will back up
fax and voice messages stored in memory for about one day while turning off.
