Close the cartridge compartment cover.
InstalUng the drum unit
CAUTION:
Do not open the protective bag until you have read the following instructions and are ready to
install the drum unit. The drum unit contains a photosensitive drum. Exposing it to light may
damage the drum.
Once you have opened the protective bag;
- Do not expose the drum unit to light for more than 5 minutes.
- Do not touch the green drum surface.
- Do not keep the drum unit near dust or dirt.
- Do not place the drum unit in a high humidity area.
- Do not expose the drum unit to direct sunlight.

Open the left cover.
