A beep is heard, and then the unit starts recording.

After the beep, speak immediately, clearly and
loudly toward the microphone from a distance of
approximately 200 mm {8 inches).
When finished, press STOP.
When 16 seconds have passed from the
beginning, the unit finishes recording your
greeting message automatically.
After a beep, the unit plays back your message
so that you can confirm it.
Adjust the speaker’s volume to a suitable level by
pressing the VOLUME control (A or V) button.
NOTES:
- If you make a mistake while recording, repeat from step 2.
- If you want to change your message, repeat the operation on pages 34 and 35. The previous
message will be automatically erased and the new message will be recorded.
