An experienced piano technician is essential to fully realise the potential of a fine acoustic piano. In addition to
meticulously tuning each note, the technician also performs numerous regulation and voicing adjustments that
allow the instrument to truly sing.
The Virtual Technician settings of the CN35 digital piano simulate these refinements digitally, allowing performers
to shape various aspects of the instrument’s character to suit their personal preferences.

2-5 Key-off Effect Adjust the sound that is heard when keys are released. 5
2-6 Fall-back Noise Adjust the sound that is heard when the key action falls back. 5
2-7 Hammer Delay Adjust the delay of the hammer striking strings when playing pianissimo. 5
2-8 Topboard Adjust the position of the grand piano topboard. Open 3
2-9 Decay Time Adjust the decay time of the piano sound while the keys are pressed. 5
2-10 Minimum Touch Adjust the minimum key velocity required to produce a sound. 1
2-11 Temperament Adjust the tuning system to suit Renaissance and Baroque periods etc. Equal Temp.
Stretch Tuning Specify whether stretch tuning should be turned On or Off. Piano Only
Stretch Curve Adjust the level of stretch tuning for equal temperaments. Normal
User Tuning Adjust the individual tuning of each of the 88 keys. 0
Temperament Key Adjust the key of the selected tuning system. C
User Temperament Create a custom, user-defined tuning system. -
2-12 User Key Volume Adjust the individual volume of each of the 88 keys. 0
2-13 Half-Pedal Adjust Adjust the point at which the damper pedal begins to sustain the sounds. 5
2-14 Soft Pedal Depth Adjust the depth/effectiveness of the soft pedal. 5
