The configuration on Device B and Device C is similar to that on Device A. The configuration on Device
D and Device E is also similar to that on Device A except that it is not necessary to enable MLD on the
corresponding interfaces on these two devices.
Step3 Configure the IPv6 SSM group range

Step4 Verify the configuration
Use the display pim ipv6 interface command to view the IPv6 PIM configuration and running status
on each interface. For example:

Assume that Host A needs to receive the information a specific IPv6 multicast source S (4001::100/64)
sends to multicast group G (FF3E::101). Device A builds an SPT toward the multicast source. Devices on
the SPT path (Device A and Device D) have generated an (S, G) entry, while Device E, which is not on
the SPT path, does not have multicast routing entries. You can use the display pim ipv6
routing-table command to view the PIM routing table information on each device. For example:
