Select the “CDR” input. Be sure to put the CD recorder in stop mode.
Finalization makes a recorded CD-R/RW playable on the CD player of this system.
Once a recorded CD-R/RW is finalized, the CD-R can be played on other CD players* and the CD-RW can be played
on CD-RW compatible components. Note that the CD-RW cannot be played back on ordinary CD players.
1 Load the disc to be finalized in the CD recorder.

2 Press the FINALIZE key to select "Finalize Ok?"
3 Press the CDR REC key to start finalization.
÷ Ensure that the disc has no scratch or dirt on the surface.
÷ The "CD-R" or "CD-RW" indicator lights. If the "CD" or
"FINALIZED CD-RW" indicator lights, it means that the disc
has already been finalized.
Finalizing a CD-R/RW (FINALIZE)
Note that, once a disc is finalized, additional recording on the disc becomes no longer possible.
Additional recording is also impossible when a CD-RW is finalized, but the disc can be returned to the status
before finalization when it is unfinalized.
÷ The FINALIZE indicator blinks.
÷ Do not perform any other operation during finalization.
÷ The time until the finalization completes is displayed.
÷ When finalization completes, "Complete" is displayed and
the FINALIZE indicator lights.
If the power supply is interrupted by a power failure
or unplugging the power cord during finalization, the
data may be destroyed and become unplayable.
Never unplug the power cord during finalization.
