Be sure to adjust the clock before setting the timer. (
Timer operation
The timer makes it possible to play a CD(CD-R/RW)
or TAPE, receive radio or record CD or radio automati-
cally in the specified time zone. The O.T.T. timer works
only once when it is activated, the SLEEP timer
switches power off (Standby mode) automatically
even after you fall asleep, and the PROG. timer pro-
vides two timer programs which work every day once
they are activated.
1 Select the desired source and adjust its volume.

The program timer does not operate during
playback by the O.T.T. timer.
To cancel O.T.T.
Switch the power ON and press the TIMER key repeatedly
until “O.T.T.” disappears.

7 Press the remote's TIMER key repeatedly until
"O.T.T." lights up.

key to switch the power OFF
(standby).
(The STANDBY/TIMER indicator lights in green.)
3 Press the MULTI CONTROL keys to select “Timer
Set?”, then press the SET key.
2 Press the MENU key.
4 Press the MULTI CONTROL keys to select
“O.T.T. ”, then press the SET key.
6 Press the SET key.
5 Set the timer ON time by pressing the MULTI
CONTROL keys.
÷ A CD can be played back on either CD player or CD recorder.
÷ After the timer has been set and power is off (timer standby),
if there is a power failure or the power cord is unplugged from
and plugged again into the power outlet, the STANDBY/
TIMER indicator blinks in green. In this case, set the clock
again.
(
After setting the timer, make sure that the power is
set to OFF (Standby).

÷ When the O.T.T. timer is set while the PROG.1 or
PROG.2 timer has been set, the reservation by the
PROG.1 or PROG.2 timer is canceled.

Simplified timer setting (O.T.T. timer)
The desired source can be played with timer by simply setting the start time. The last source selected before the
power is turned off (STANDBY) will be played by timer. The power is turned off (STANDBY) automatically in an
hour after the start of timer playback. This timer functions only once after it is set. (The setting content is held in
memory until the next setting, even if the timer operation is canceled.)
÷ When the TIMER key is pressed repeatedly until “O.T.T.”
disappears after the start of O.T.T. timer playback, this
will be changed to normal playback.
