÷ To listen to CD (CD-R/RW)
Program timer playback (AI timer playback) and timer recording
Two timer programs (PROG.1, PROG.2) are available. Both of them are 24-hour timer programs which can be
executed every day.
Each of timer reservation programs PROG.1 and PROG.2 can store the time zone and contents of timer operation,
which can be executed or deactivated as required.
Insert a CD
(Normal playback only)

Select the timer reservation mode.
÷ If you make a mistake in the middle, press the MENU key to
cancel the operation and restart it from step
2.
÷ When a timer reservation already has been made, the con-
tents will change to the new settings.
÷ It is possible to execute both timer reservation programs PROG.1 and PROG.2 simultaneously.
÷ The time zones of PROG.1 and PROG.2 should be set by reserving an interval of 1 minute or more so that they are not overlapped.

÷ Recording or playing the AUX

of a source component connected to
the AUX jacks, connect it properly by
referring to “Connection of Other
Accessories”.

“Timer Set?” , then press the SET key.

or an auxiliary digital/analog source (D-AUX/AUX).

The station should be preset prior.

÷ To listen to or record radio broadcasting
A CD can be played back on either CD
player or CD recorder. To listen to CD-R/
RW on the CD player, make sure to
finalize the disc.
If it is recording that is to be activated by the timer, make preparations for recording.
