Relay Assembly
Removal
•
Remove the seat (see Hull/Engine Hood chapter).
•
Remove the rear storage pocket.
•
Remove:
Relay Assembly Connector [A]
Clamp [B]
Bolt [C]
Relay Assembly [D]
Installation
•
Apply a non-permanent locking agent to the relay assem-
bly mounting bolt and tighten it securely.
•
Route the relay assembly leads correctly (see Cable, Wire
and Harness Routing in Appendix chapter).
Circuit Inspection
•
Remove the relay assembly.
•
Check conductivity of the following numbered terminals
by connecting the hand tester and one 12 V battery to the
relay assembly as shown.
If the tester does not read as specified, replace the relay
assembly.
