Per-Phone Configuration

This section covers the parameters in the per-phone example configuration file

phone1.cfg. This file would normally be used as a template for the per-phone

configuration files. For more information, refer to

Deploying Phones From the

The parameters include:

Registration <reg/>

Calls <call/>

Diversion <divert/>

Dial Plan <dialplan/>

Messaging <msg/>

Network Address Translation <nat/>

Attendant <attendant/>

Roaming Buddies <roaming_buddies/>

Roaming Privacy <roaming_privacy/>

softkey.feature.buddies

0 or 1

If set to 0, the Buddies soft key is not
displayed.

If set to 1 or Null, the Buddies soft key is
displayed.

Note: pres.idleSoftKeys must be set to
1 for this soft key to be displayed

basicCallManagement.redundant

0 or 1

If set to 0 and the phone has hard keys
mapped for Hold, Transfer, and
Conference functions (all must be
mapped), all of these soft keys are not
displayed.

If set to 1 or Null, all of these soft keys are
displayed.

Polycom recommends that you create another file with your organization’s
modifications. If you must change any Polycom templates, back them up first.
