Switching Mobile Unit Off/On

You can switch off your mobile unit to make your battery charge last longer. If your
mobile unit is switched off, no ringer or info tones are emitted (for example, for an
appointment call).

Switching on mobile unit
Switch on by pressing and holding the

end-call key until the display lights up

once again.
This can take up to 10 seconds.

The display now looks like this (e.g.):

The communications system is called “OpenCom” and the (internal) call number of
the mobile unit is “39”. This information refers to the mobile unit of the communica-
tions system. You can change this information in the

> System > Subscriptions

menu (see page 112). The mobile unit is named “Peters”. You can change this infor-
mation in the

> Settings > User name menu (see page 129).

The current date and time settings are usually provided by the system when checking
in.
