The S
HUTDOWN

function will power down the terminal. When prompted, press <1> on the keypad to
initiate the shutdown operation. Once the computer is powered down, you will have to manually turn the power
supply O
N
/O
FF
switch to the O
FF
position.

:
The R
ESTART
T
ERMINAL
function will just reboot the
terminal. It will take several minutes for the terminal to
power down/up the computer. When prompted, press
<1> on the keypad to initiate the restart operation.
* WARNING! *
To SHUT OFF power to this unit, turn off the switch on the power module and remove the
power cord from the PC. Press the UPS switch for 2 seconds and release. The LEDs on
the UPS will turn OFF. If the LED’s remains ON (indicating power), press the switch for
another 2 seconds and release.
