function allows user to select (toggle) TCP/IP or SNA commu-
nications protocol.
When the TCP/IP protocol is selected, the following parameters can be specified:

. This function used to specify the message format between the ATM and the host.
The options are:

Length (default). This format comprises a 2-byte length field (network byte order followed by data).
