Position History

The Position History is a Histogram that shows the percentage of the

actuator/valve duration in a specific valve position . The histogram

is divided into 10 segments, each representing a ratio of 10% valve

position (0 to 10%, 10-20% etc .) . The Position History can display 4

different History Intervals . These Historians allow seeing the valve

positions up to the last 60 months . The 4 Historians can be configured

under Configuration/Maintenance/History Interval .
Every 24 hours the collected data is stored inside of the positioner-

memory . Therefore the information can be retrieved at any later time for

diagnostic purposes . This feature allows for instance to identify, if the

valve is over- or under-specified . It will show the exact operating range

of the positioner over time .
The exact percentage of each position history is identified by the values

listed above the histograms .
