1. Use XP RAID Manager to execute the horctakeover command on the XP Continuous Access
Synchronouspair.
NOTE: Unlike the procedure on the prior page, the XP Continuous Access Journal pair was
not deleted.
2. Use the XP Continuous Access Synchronous S-VOL to resume your business tasks.
3. Check the execution result of the horctakeover command.
4. If the XP Continuous Access Synchronous pair's primary/secondary relationship is not reversed
(that is, the copy direction is not reversed as illustrated in the upper-right in
Figure 33 (page
78) because the primary site is not operational, or if the XP Continuous Access Synchronous
pair's primary/secondary relationship is reversed (that is, the copy direction is reversed as
illustrated in the lower-right in
Figure 33 (page 78) because the primary site is operational,
use XP RAID Manager pairresync command to perform the delta resync operation on the
volume in the XP Continuous Access Synchronous secondary site. When performing delta
resync operations on the volume in the XP Continuous Access Synchronous secondary site,
the status of the XP Continuous Access Journal pair's data volumes changes as explained in
Table 20 (page 77) .
